Barbora Kysilková, a young Czech artist living in Oslo, is desperate after the theft of two of her paintings. In court, she approaches their thief and asks him to model for her portrait. Gradually, a strange, hard-to-believe relationship begins to form, and at the same time an inseparable bond is formed that will bind these human beings together forever. What was originally a short documentary about a heist has turned into a multi-layered story about the creative process, the twists and turns of human relationships, the possibility of getting a second chance and the meaning of life itself.
