Norwegian director Lilja Ingolfsdottir has returned to the Czech Republic, where she studied at FAMU, with Lovable, one of 12 films competing for the Crystal Globe at Karlovy Vary. At first glance a divorce drama, the Norwegian director’s first feature film is in fact something more. In an interview, the director reflects on intimacy, trauma, family connections and the complexity of establishing relationships. And also about the filmmaker's ability to be bold and transparent.
