58th Closing ceremony: And the winners are…
The 58th Karlovy Vary IFF culminated on Saturday evening with a glitzy awards ceremony at Thermal’s Grand Hall. And we spoke to the winners of many of the top prizes: Mark Cousins for Best Film with A Sudden Glimpse to Deeper Things; Nelicia Low, who picked up the Best Director gong for Pierce; Helga Guren, named Best Actress for her role in Lovable; Guido Pollemans, who shared the Best Actor award with his Three Days of Fish co-star Ton Kas; and Jiří Mádl, whose Waves won the Právo Audience Award. Congratulations to all the laureates!
