Christos Nikou to KVIFF.TV: The film is meant to resemble a Polaroid.
Apples by Christos Nikou centres on victims of a mysterious pandemic that is
erasing people’s memories, but manages to deliver humanity and humour despite
starting from such a high concept. In an interview the Greek first-time
director, who was on the Crystal Globe jury at 55th KVIFF, discusses the way
technology is impacting people’s memories today – and whether apples
really can improve one’s powers of recollection.
