Hollywood director Steven Soderbergh presented his Mr. Kneff, a radical reworking of material shot for his 1991 film Kafka, at KVIFF on Sunday. In an interview ahead of that introduction, he discussed why he followed Sex, Lies and Videotape with a movie about the Prague-born writer, how it felt to take on that same material decades later, and what it was like shooting in the then Czechoslovak capital during a period of transition.
