An unforgiving portrait of a man who has lost everything even though at first glance he is drowning in luxury and lacks nothing. Rapper Cole returns from a successful tour, exhausted not just professionally, but also personally from a recent divorce. The people around him, especially his personal assistant Ilana, continue to work tirelessly on his career, but Cole is detached from it all. Alcohol, drugs, prostitutes, excesses, aggression – there is no time or energy for anything else. Somewhere on the margins is a young daughter, but despite the best of intentions Cole can’t seem to connect with her… The lead role in the latest film by established American independent filmmaker Tim Sutton is played by rapper Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly.
