Whisper of the Heart

Fourteen-year-old girl Shizuku is busy at school, as the results of the final exams will be considered for the high school admission exam, but she is not slacking off in her main hobby, reading. Since her dad works at the library, she also has a regular supply of reading material. Recently, she has started to notice that Seiji Amasawa's name is repeated on the borrowing slips of books that interest her. One day, on her way to the library, Shizuku meets a strange cat, and as she follows him through the twisting alleys, she discovers a small, run-down antique shop that becomes a place of fascination and inspiration for her, and a great love. The Japanese animated film Whisper of the Heart is based on the comic book by Aoi Hiiragi. Hayao Miyazaki, who wrote the screenplay and drew the storyboards, subtly altered the original comic.
