About

Rudolf, Hedwig and their children live in a large house with a beautiful, well-tended garden. They celebrate every day with dinner together, reminisce about their beloved Italy, enjoy weekend trips to the water and walks with friends. However, from behind the walls of their home, disturbing noises and the occasional desperate scream can be heard. Rudolf Höss is the commander of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Jonathan Glazer's chilling film about the banality of evil took home the Grand Prix at Cannes and won two Academy Awards and three BAFTAs thanks to its exceptional filmmaking.
