About

It would be hard to find a couple in the Czech Republic whose members have won Czech Lions, performed in more than 40 countries, given more than 3000 concerts or organized countless exhibitions. „Put the Light On, So We Can See“ is a portrait of Miroslav Wanek, founder of the band Už jsme doma, and Martin Velíšek, artist and non-playing member of UJD, who gave this band its visual form. It shows the thirty-year friendship of these personalities and delves into both their successes and the rawness of the demons they were plagued with. Wanek and Velíšek formed a creative partnership that not only defined the Czech independent music scene, but gave shape to film classics like Fimfárum. So just take a journey with them. From Teplice, through Žižkov to the end of the world.
