About
We’re coming up to the mid-16th century and infamous Henry VIII continues to rule over Tudor England. His sixth wife Catherine Parr lives both in the knowledge that she may not necessarily be the tyrant’s last spouse, and also in the hope that she will realise her progressive ideas, particularly regarding her faith. Alicia Vikander and Jude Law are the mesmerising stars of this modern reimagining of a period film which is, at the same time, a psychological thriller of its kind.
