About

Chloé, a young, fragile woman with a tendency to depression, begins to attend psychotherapy and falls head over heels in love with her psychologist Paul. After the lovers move in together, Chloé begins to realise that something is amiss in Paul's past until she discovers the existence of his identical twin. Why is Paul hiding the fact that he has a brother from everyone? What ancient secret unites and separates them? And is it really a twin, or just an elaborate lie that Paul is using to cover up the other life of his darker self? This erotically steeped thriller from veteran French director François Ozon is a thoughtful cinematic homage to legendary films like Rosemary's Baby, Dead Ringers and Basic Instinct. The film, which competed at Cannes, was part of the Horizons section on 52nd KVIFF.
