Detective Downs
Detective Robert has his own office, a trench coat, a Bogart hat and Downs syndrome. The only thing he is missing is a case. After his successful debut The Course of Negative Thinking, Norwegian director Bård Breien has shot his second film in Prague.
Robert Bogerud runs a one-man private detective agency, but he's never gotten a real case. All his potential clients always disappear the moment Robert takes off his detective hat. No one believes that this young man with Down's syndrome can achieve anything in the detective business. Even his father, who is a real police investigator, refuses to admit it. But eventually Robert manages to get his first case. Legendary skater Olav Starr has mysteriously disappeared. And relatives choose Robert to find him. They need a detective as incompetent as possible, just to calm their senile grandmother. The more bizarre Robert's search for Olav becomes, the more it turns out that he is not nearly as stupid as he might seem.
