About

Jasmine is an elegant, charming and spoiled lady who has everything she can think of. Her seemingly idyllic marriage to wealthy businessman Hal and her carefree life fall to pieces in an instant. Jasmine moves in with her sister Ginger, who has a modest apartment in San Francisco. But escaping the fairytale stereotype isn't so easy. Jasmine reluctantly accepts a job as a receptionist at a dental office, where she attracts the unwanted attention of her boss. Through it all, she intends to continue to maintain her aristocratic ways, even though she's emotionally down and her best friend is a cocktail of antidepressants and alcohol. When she meets Dwight, a dashing diplomat who is captivated by her beauty, sophistication and style, she feels she has found a new path in life. But what does Jasmine really expect from her life? The comedy drama Jasmine's Tears tells the story of the consequences that can occur when people close their eyes to reality and the truth they don't want to see.
