Marie Magdalena Kochová presented the world premiere of her film The Other One at the 58th Karlovy Vary IFF. Using the example of Johana, 18, it explores “glass children”, the siblings of children with all kinds of special requirements who struggle for adequate parental attention. In an interview, the director discusses the moving boundary between love and responsibility, and the feedback she has been receiving from viewers.
