The great US indie auteur Nicole Holofcener is the subject of a special tribute at this year’s KVIFF, with three of her seven movies being screened. Please Give is one of several collaborations with actress Catherine Keener, while both Enough Said and You Hurt My Feelings feature Julia Louis-Dreyfus. In an interview the director discusses her casting choices, whether her approach to directing has changed over the decades, and why she is drawn to the awkward moments in life.
