Amalie Maria Nielsen from Denmark became the first participant in the Future Frames programme at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival to be awarded a scholarship to Los Angeles.

The Future Frames project is organised by KVIFF together with European Film Promotion, with the support of Allwyn, United Talent Agency, and Range Media Partners.
