The sun is the source of life, warmth and health. But British teenagers are living in a country where they don't get enough of it. They suffer mentally, they suffer physically, and the sun is replaced by vials of vitamin D. Their dream is to escape to the Balearic Islands, or in the case of the protagonist, Mallorca, to let the sun soak in as much as possible in the limited time of their holidays, to keep their footprints even under the overcast skies of their home country.
