After an intensive online program, 10 emerging European directors presented their films to the film industry, the press and the audience at the 57th Karlovy Vary IFF. In addition to the introduction of the films, the 3-day on-site program also included a meeting with agents and managers from the American agencies UTA ​​and Range Media Partners and an exclusive master class with the Polish director Agnieszka Smoczyńska, who shared her experience in filmmaking with the young directors. For the first time in the history of the Future Frames program, a scholarship enabling a study stay in Los Angeles was awarded as part of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
