Hollywood star Russell Crowe was the biggest name at the first night of the 57th edition of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. In a red carpet interview, the famous actor said a concert scheduled to follow the official opening was his initial reason for coming to KVIFF – but the festival itself had impressed him immensely.
