Among the works in KVIFF’s Horizons section this year is A Little Love Package, a poetic, unconventional film shot by Argentinean director Gastón Solnicki in Vienna during the coronavirus pandemic. In an interview, he explains his connection to the city, the role played in the film by Austria’s ban on smoking in restaurants, and what leads Angeliki Papoulia and Carmen Chaplin bring to A Little Love Package.
