Bolek Polívka: Forgotten Light was a serious film but a fun shoot

Czech acting great Bolek Polívka introduced his 1996 film Forgotten Light (directed by Vladimír Michálek) at the Grand Hall of Hotel Thermal on Friday. In a red carpet interview, the actor, who will receive the KVIFF President’s Award at the festival’s closing ceremony on Saturday, spoke about what makes the film “unforgettable” – and compared working in movies to his main profession, theatre.
