Ukrainian director Maryna Er Gorbach visited the 2020 KVIFF with Klondike, a film centred on the notorious shooting down of a passenger plane over Donbas six years ago. In an interview, the filmmaker discusses whether this year’s Russian invasion of her country has made Klondike more relevant – and what has happened to the team who made it since the conflict began.
