One of the most compelling films screened so far at the 56th KVIFF is the
documentary Fire of Love by US director and producer Sara Dosa.
In an interview the director explains how she discovered the story of married
American volcanologists Katie and Maurice Krafft and why it touched her so
deeply. She also discusses the archival sources she draws on in the film and
what she regards as the strongest metaphor for relationships from the world of
volcanoes.
