Feathers by Egyptian director Omar El Zohairy, which centres on the surreal transformation of a pater familias when a magic trick goes wrong, was screened in the Horizons section at the 55th KVIFF. In an interview, the film’s maker says the lack of limits is just what makes cinema magical and explains why he is satisfied when people call Feathers “crazy”.
