Radu Jude to KVIFF.TV: If I spoke at PTA meetings I’d get too angry.
Radu Jude’s Berlin-winning Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn is centred on a
female teacher whose sex tape finds its way online. But typically of the great
Romanian director, the “story” is merely the starting point for a film that
is perhaps more about ideas than anything else. In an interview Jude discusses
the construction of the “montage film” and people’s obsession with
obscenity – and reveals that he wanted to make a film that includes a parent
teacher meeting for some time.
