Joseph Fahim to KVIFF.TV: We only selected political US films.
The Film Foundation, established by director Martin Scorsese in 1990, has to
date restored over 900 endangered major works of world cinema. 55th Karlovy
Vary IFF included a special section dedicated to the organisation that brought
10 very diverse works to the festival’s audiences. Joseph Fahim,
KVIFF’s Arab cinema consultant, chose those films with artistic director
Karel Och – and discusses that process, and much more.
