Life on the farm is endlessly boring. Every day passes in the same rhythm, Shaun has to obey and do what the farmer says. How can you just have one, single day off? Shaun and the other sheep come up with a cunning trick to put the farmer to sleep. They jump round and round over the pen, the farmer counts, counts and counts his sheep until finally he falls asleep. The sheep then gently place the farmer in an old caravan in the corner of the field, but the caravan breaks free and drives out onto the road over all the obstacles with the sleeping farmer inside. Shaun and his flock of sheep will have to go straight to the tower town to find the farmer and his faithful dog Bitzer. Many adventures await them on this rescue expedition.
