About
Jean Eustache films his grandmother, Odette Robert, aged 70, who tells the story of her life: her happy childhood, the death of her mother, the painful cohabitation with her mother-in-law, her meeting with her husband, who soon became unfaithful. She talks about the four children she lost, the illnesses, the relocations, the shame and the arguments. She also confides her concern for her grandson and great-grandson, whom she would like to see grow up for a few more years.
