On the occasion of the upcoming KVIFF Classics, director and screenwriter Beata Parkanová reveals which international and Czech filmmakers have influenced her understanding of filmmaking and which director she would like to see at work. Her films Moments and The Word were recently shown in competition at the Karlovy Vary film festival, with The Word winning her the Best Director Award at KVIFF 56. Both films can be viewed with a subscription to KVIFF.TV.
