KVIFF is not just about premieres and red carpet – KVIFF Eastern Promises, the annual programme dedicated to film professionals, represents an equally key part of the festival. During several days full of lectures, workshops and film market showcases, Czech filmmakers can meet their colleagues from abroad, make valuable contacts and present their projects to the Industry audience.

Thanks to the support of the PPF Foundation, the festival has invited inspiring experts to Karlovy Vary, including AI pundits or the legendary American indie film producer Christine Vachon, all while enabling several talented Czech creators or film professionals to discover innovative film industry practices in other parts of the world.
