About

The protagonist of the film about loss, love and the sweetness of being, played by Helsinki native Pekka Strang, tragically loses his wife (Ester Geislerová) to drowning in a lake. This dark event, which also happened in front of their young daughter, constantly haunts Juha and makes it impossible for him to connect with people. However, a meeting with the dominatrix Mona changes everything. Juha becomes addicted to suffocation and Mona is happy to indulge him – but are they going too far into the dark world?

Winner of six Finnish Jussi awards premiered at Cannes film festival. The film was presented by actress Ester Geislerová and producer Vratislav Šlajer at the 54th KVIFF.
