At the end of the 1960s, when the air is filled with rock-and-roll and student
rebellions are changing the world, the older of two brothers joins a prestigious
newsroom of the public radio broadcaster. Not long after, he finds himself in
the middle of a dangerous conflict between journalists and the secret service.
A whirlwind of events soon throws everyone’s lives in danger. The main
protagonist stands before a difficult choice: should he protect his brother or
stand up for the truth and his colleagues? Jiří Mádl's gripping film about
the importance of family, the fight for freedom and one recording that can
change the course of history was screened with great success at the Karlovy Vary
International Film Festival, where it received a long standing ovation and won
the Audience Award.
