The Gardener's Year
A gardener (Oldřich Kaiser) and his wife (Dáša Vokatá) live at the foot of a beautiful hill, tending their small garden. Their idyllic life is disrupted when a new owner is about to settle in a nearby castle and wants to transform the landscape to his liking. When the gardening interferes with his plans, a series of bizarre events are set in motion. The new owner first creates a razor-wire fence and closes the driveway, which is guarded by a hired security guard (Štěpán Kozub). He gradually increases the intensity of his actions to achieve his goals. However, the gardener does not give up and tries to defend his home. When the police (Jiří Vyorálek, Tomáš Jeřábek) and the mayor (Alena Mihulová) gradually drown in their own bureaucracy, the gardener decides to take his fate into his own hands.
