Perfect Days
Hirayama works as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. He lives happily in his carefully constructed routine and spends his free time reading books, listening to old rock tapes or taking pictures with his analogue camera. He is disturbed from the harmony of his life by a series of unexpected encounters that gradually reveal pieces of his past. Acclaimed director Wim Wenders (Paris, Texas) makes a triumphant return with a poetic film about finding beauty in seemingly small things. The lead actor Kodi Yakusho was awarded Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival.
