I’m Not Everything I Want to Be
Libuše Jarcovjáková is a legend of world photography and an unrestrained woman who defied all conventions. Her life is a mosaic of fascinating encounters and wild stories – from the rough underground of communist Czechoslovakia, to exclusive photo shoots for fashion leaders in Tokyo, to her dramatic escape to West Berlin, where she witnessed the fall of the Iron Curtain. Thousands of analogue photographs and pages of personal diaries were turned into a formally unique documentary directed by Klára Tasovská, which impressed the audience at the Berlinale.
