Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar, a legend of European cinema, will celebrate his 75th birthday on Wednesday 25 September 2024. The phenomenal work of this winner of two Oscars and countless other awards has charmed many viewers who have become his unquestioning fans. The latest in a string of awards is the Golden Lion at the recent Venice Film Festival for his latest film, The Room Next Door, which Almodóvar made in English for the first time in his career.
