European-Asian co-productions are still a very promising new frontier for producers. Yet navigating this landscape is complex for many reasons. The Euro-Asian producers' association Bridging the Dragon, in collaboration with KVIFF, hosted a panel on the opportunities and challenges of this collaboration. Using „Pierce“, a coproduction between Taiwan, Singapore, and Poland, as a case study, the film producers Sam Chua Weishi (Singapore), Patrick Mao Huang (Taiwan), Izabela Igel (Poland) and Erika Lin, a representative from Taiwan Creative Content Agency (Taicca) analyze the difficulties and benefits of such projects.
