Since beginning his career in the 1970s, he has worked with many of the country’s leading directors, including Jiří Menzel, Věra Chytilová, Ladislav Smoljak, and Karel Kachyňa. His editing has shaped numerous key works of Czech cinema, such as Cutting It Short, My Sweet Little Village and I Served the King of England.
