Amálka is six years old. She loves her cat, her parents, and her gran and grampa. It’s summertime and all the little girl could wish for is for the day to turn out just as it should. Except that things are different.

About

Tiny Lights are a precisely and sensitively assembled mosaic of a crucial day in the life of a child, which shatters the child's certainties and says – you are a person threatened by loneliness. You and your people, every one of them. It's on such a summer day that Amálka (Mia Banko) wakes up, to a world that has never been threatened before, a world she shares with her cat, her parents, her grandfather and her grandmother. There are intimate corners in the garden, beyond the fence the forest and the pond, the road and the meadow, and above it all the sky. And it should be a day with little glitches and small joys like any other. But it won't be. Where did the restlessness come from that pouts and won't play.
