The Hypnosis
André and Vera are partners not only in private but also in business. They do everything for their own startup. Their smooth personal life must fit all the boxes that lead to success. They are about to take a crucial step: a prestigious competition led by a renowned guru that opens the doors to big business. The presentation is ready, the speeches polished, the future bright. But then a disgruntled Vera gets the idea to go to hypnotherapy, which sets off a chain of events that reveals how little control the heroes really have over their lives. Debuting Swedish director Ernst de Geer imaginatively combines a biting satire of a society that is losing its immediacy with a tender romantic comedy about a couple going through a serious relationship crisis.
