About

Henri Boulanger, a London waterworks worker, loses his job and decides to commit suicide. He fails to do so, so he decides to hire an assassin to do the job for him. The contract is signed and all that's left to do is wait. In the meantime, Henri falls in love and changes his mind about suicide. But the assassin cannot be stopped and he and his lover have no choice but to hide.
