The film Kika delivers a screamingly unconventional „entanglement“, where the main characters are the beautician Kika, a strange writer of crime novels in which he may be describing his own actions, his formerly dead son Ramón, an almost sickly erotic talk show host, and Kika's lesbian housekeeper who is having an affair with her porn-actor brother. It's an endearing and morbid carnival of obsessions and passions, which is also the work of Almodóvar's screenwriting.
