Set in contemporary England, the story follows a lonely man's daily journey through a chaotic world dominated by drugs and violence. Harry Brown is an ordinary citizen and former marine, now retired. After the death of his wife, he lives alone in one of hundreds of flats on a suburban estate. The only company he has is his best friend Lenny. But one day he is murdered by a group of local thugs. Harry decides to take action and fulfill his own idea of justice.
