About

Two neighbouring clans and two different approaches to life. What happens when the love of their own children interferes with the strained relationships of two dominant fathers? While Josef forces his family into a peculiar way of life on an island of vegetation among Viktor's monoculture meadows, Míra is in love with Josef's teenage daughter Žofka. To win her sympathy, he must fight with his father. His son's rebellion and problems in the family business put Viktor in a new situation. Even Josef, disappointed by the consequences of his own attitudes in life, has the opportunity to reconsider. Hope for recovery in the field of interpersonal relationships and the dry landscape is brought into the lives of several characters by a crucial event.
