About

In 1993, part of an elite U.S. Army unit is sent to Mogadishu, Somalia, to be part of a United Nations peacekeeping operation. The mission is to kidnap several senior officers of the Somali dictator. It is part of a strategic plan to stop the civil war that is raging across the country. But the seemingly safely planned mission takes a wrong turn. Rangers and veterans alike must fight side by side against overwhelming odds and flee behind enemy lines until a rescue convoy can head out to rescue them. In the hard fighting, friends die, relationships are formed, boys become men, and soldiers learn what the true face of war and heroism looks like.
